Joomla 1.7 (at the time of writing) has arrived. For many extension developers it has been an enormous amount of work making extensions compatible but luckily the new features are well worth it.

One (upgrade) installer

Form2Content Pro installation package for Joomla 1.6 can be used both as upgrade installer for the F2C Lite version (Joomla 1.6) and as a clean install package.

Nested categories and ACL

Nested categories and ACL (user permissions system) are the biggest changes in Joomla 1.7. Form2Content works completely NATIVELY with both. This means that you can use the permissions system to limit access to F2C per user(group) and per F2C Content Type.

Like before inf F2C Pro, you can also limit article submission to a SINGLE category or to the SUB-CATEGORIES of a selected category.
